Mark your calendars now for the much anticipated, always enjoyed 37th Annual Holiday House Tour hosted by the Howard County Historical Society and sponsored by The Creig Northrop Team of Long & Foster Real Estate. This year’s tour will be held on Sunday, December 15th and features five historic Howard County properties including The Shrine of Saint Anthony in Ellicott City, Folly Quarter Manor (McTavish Carrollton Hall once owned by Governor John Lee Carroll and Van Lear Black, publisher of The Baltimore Sun) located at the Shrine, Richland Farm (with the original 1781 log house), Dalton (built circa 1925 on brick and stone foundation that may date to 1770) in Columbia’s Thunder Hill neighborhood, and Salopha (circa 1742) in Sykesville. Ticket holders will travel comfortably en route to the various historic sites aboard a fleet of Eyre Buses. New this year will be onboard drinks and snacks available at a nominal cost. Our event will have something for everyone – novices to experts- including silent and live auctions, raffle prizes, entertainment, signature designed jewelry sales, and much more. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is committed to adding tomorrows to the lives of people with CF. Creig & Carla Northrop were honored to co-host the 11th Annual Howard County Wine Master’s event, along with Jamie and Tim Evankovich, Patty and Tom Buescher, Lynne and Gus Kalaris, Mary and Randy Marriner, and Mary Jayne and John Register. Held at a magnificent private Howard County estate, the evening featured exceptional wine, silent and live auctions, craft beer, vintners and brewers – with proceeds benefitting the Maryland Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

The Creig Northrop Team of Long & Foster Real Estate was proud to support two of our Team Members at the Howard County Association of REALTORS® Annual Meeting and Installation of Officers & Directors on Thursday, October 17, 2013.

Congratulations to Marilyn Rhodovi, who was installed as the President of the Howard County Association of REALTORS® for the 2013-2014 term. Marilyn was joined at the event by her husband and two sons, one of which had the honor of swearing her into office.

Congratulations to Alicyn DelZoppo, who was installed as a member of the Board of Directors for 2013-2014. Alicyn was also awarded with the 2013 Community Service Award for her hard work and dedication to a variety of charitable organizations and worthwhile causes. Alicyn was joined at the event by her mother, Cindy DelZoppo.

We appreciate the commitment these two ladies have for the REALTOR® Community and all of the hard work they do to ensure that home-ownership remains an achievable American dream.
